We are filing for state approvals course-by-course, state-by-state. Until each one lands, the same course is available as a Knowledge Edition: the curriculum, the exam, the certificate, at no cost. It is educational and does not satisfy the legal training requirement until your state approves the course, at which point a state-approved Approved Edition becomes available.

Knowledge Edition

The course, completed. Not yet the legal cert.

You take the same course an Approved-Edition learner takes. You pass the same exam. Your cert is verifiable on our public API. The only difference is what the cert legally signifies in your state. Until we get the state's sign-off, it doesn't satisfy the regulatory training requirement on its own.

Approved Edition

State-issued. Inspector-ready.

The state regulatory authority has reviewed the course, issued an approval number, and accepted CertiComply as the provider. Completion satisfies the state's training requirement. The cert is listed on the state's provider directory by approval number.
